Indoors

Classrooms prepared for small hands

Each class has its own room, set up the Montessori way. Shelves sit at child height, every material has its place, and children can reach, choose and put back their work on their own.

Five learning areas

Where the Christmas show, Culture Day and graduation happen

Families gather under the trees while the children perform. It's a big moment for small people, and good practice in speaking up with confidence.

Rest and care

After lunch, children who need a nap sleep to soft music in a quiet room. Older children rest with a book. Each child has their own bedding, which goes home at the end of the week for washing.

Teachers check nappies and take toilet breaks often through the day, and help each child towards toilet independence at their own pace.
