FAQ
Questions parents ask
What are the school hours?
7:30 AM to 2:00 PM, with drop-off until 8:30. Extended care runs until 3:00 or 4:00 PM for an additional fee.
Do you provide meals?
Families pack a healthy lunch and snacks; our staff warm meals when needed. We are a nut-free school with no chocolate, chips or fizzy drinks.
What are the afternoon clubs?
From 2:00 to 3:00 PM, children in extended care join a club: cooking on Monday, Zumba on Tuesday, arts and crafts on Wednesday, sports on Thursday and story box on Friday.
What happens on my child's birthday?
We celebrate with the Birthday Walk: your child carries a globe around a sun, one lap for each year, while we share a photo from every year of their life. Please send in one photo for each year. [Details to confirm in the birthday guide.]
What is Show & Tell?
Every Friday, children bring something special from home and tell their class about it. It's a lovely way to build confidence in speaking up.
Does my child need to speak French?
No. Every class has a French teacher, and children pick French up naturally through songs, stories and daily routines.
What if my child is unwell or hurt at school?
We contact you, and any first aid given at school is explained to you in full at pick-up. If your child is unwell in the morning, please keep them at home and let us know. [Illness policy to confirm.]
When are the school holidays?
The school year runs from September to June, with breaks in December and March–April. The school calendar has the exact dates.
